Samantha Riedel is a Massachusetts-based writer and editor specializing in transgender history, culture, and current affairs. Since 2012, her work has been featured in numerous print and online publications, including Publishers Weekly, Bitch Magazine, Vice, The Huffington Post, and Them.us, where she is currently a contributing writer. Her essay "On Transfeminine Anger" was featured in the 2019 anthology Burn It Down: Women Writing About Anger (Seal Press, ed. Lilly Dancyger).
Samantha earned an honors degree in poetry from Binghamton University (go Bearcats). Like Sisyphus, she is perpetually working on her first manuscript.
